Abstract

Innhold blir kryptert med en innholdsnøkkel (CK) ((CK(content))), (CK) blir beskyttet med en lisensserver sin fellesnøkkel (PU-DRM) og rettighetsdata assosiert med innholdet blir. innhentet fra en rettighetsmal og beskyttet med (PU-DRM). Lisensserveren verifiserer rettighetsmalens signatur, og dersom denne signaturen verifiserer, signerer rettighetsmerket for å danne et signert rettighetsmerke (SRL) og. returnerer dette. Nevnte SRL blir sammenkjedet med (CK(content)), og begge blir distribuert til en bruker. For å rendre innholdet sender brukeren inn nevnte SRL- til lisensserveren for å be om en lisens.
