Abstract

A frame (1) for retention of a plate-shaped panel member (4) for mounting on a building front (7) has a flange (5) extending along its circumference and comprises a moulding (6) for mounting on the frame along the flange (5) for retention of an edge area (9) of the panel member (4) between the flange and the moulding. The moulding (6) has a substantially L-shaped cross-section of which a first leg (14), in the mounted position of the moulding (6) on the frame (1), rests on the panel member (4) in such a way that a second leg (15) thereof is kept in locking engagement with the frame (1) in one of a number of locking positions for the moulding (6), in which positions the first leg (14) is at different distances from the flange (5) on the frame (1).
