Abstract

Oppfinnelsen er rettet mot et flyteelement for å holde garn og fangsredskaper flytende. Det blir også beskrevet en prosess for fremstilling av slike flyteelementer. Flyteelementene blir fremstilt i en endoterm prosess der det benyttes spesielle blandingsforhold mellom forskjellige plastmaterialer som for eksempel polypropylen, sammen med et blåsemiddel. Flyteelementene har en spesiell densitet som gjør at de har gode oppdriftsegenskaper, men er også robuste mot sprekking og kollaps ved bruk på store havdyp.
