Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en vandig polymerdispersjon som omfatter polymerisering av én eller flere vannoppløselige monomerer i en vandig oppløsning av salt i nærvær av en dispergeringspolymer, hvor dispergeringspolymeren er en kopolymer av en monomerblanding (M) omfattende minst én kationisk monomer og minst én monomer som er tetrahydrofurfurylakrylat, tetrahydrofurfurylmetakrylat, eller en monomer av den generelle formel (I) hvor R1 er hydrogen eller metyl, R2 er hydrogen eller C1-C2-alkyl, R3 er hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, fenyl eller benzyl, n=1 til 4, og x=1 til 50, hvor monomerblandingen (M) er hovedsakelig fri for monomerer som ikke kan løses opp i vann og/eller dispergeringspolymeren kan oppnås ved polymerisering av monomerblandingen (M) i et reaksjonsmedium som hovedsakelig er fritt for organiske løsningsmidler. Oppfinnelsen vedrører også en vandig polymerdispersjon, anvendelse av dispersjonen og en fremgangsmåte for produksjon av papir.
