Abstract
En termodynamisk kraftforsterkningsmaskin som bringer et væskeformet arbeidsmedium til å utføre nyttig arbeid under en trefase arbeidssyklus (isokorisk oppvarming, isotermisk ekspansjon, sammentrekning ved hjelp av regenerativ nedkjøling) under bruk av en ytre varmekilde og en ytre kuldekilde. Det arbeid som utføres av en ekstra drivenhet (12) på fortrengningsstempelet (11) vil herunder være meget mindre enn det arbeid som frembringes i omformingssystemet (18, 19) (kraftforsterkning). En invers virkende maskin som drives av en ytre kraftkilde kan gjøre tjeneste som en varmepumpe eller kjølemaskin.
