Abstract

En trykkreduserende ventil for tilførsel av en strøm av luft via nesen til en pasient. Ventilen omfatter et hult, rørformet legeme (1) som omfatter en endedel (3) av et luftinntak for høytrykksluft, en endedel (4) av et luftutløp for lavtrykksluft som er motsatt til nevnte endedel (3) for inntak, og en mellomliggende utluftningsdel som har perforeringer (6, 7) for utluftning av et konstant og ikke-justerbart trykk og strøm av luft fra det indre hulrom til det rørformede legemet (1) til omgivelsesatmosfæren. Et avskjermingslegeme (fig.3) som er plassert over nevnte perforeringer (6,7), sikrer at perforeringene (6,7) ikke blir blokkert og at luftstrømmen ledes fra nevnte perforeringer (6,7) mot nevnte endedel (3) for luftinntak.
