Oppfinnelsen vedrører en rengjøringsfremgangsmåte for en nedsenket og tauet seismisk hydrofonkabel (1) som er karakterisert ved at en rengjøringsanordning (11), irmbefattende et verktøy for rengjøring av den seismiske hydrofonkabelen, griper irm nmdt dens seismiske hydrofonkabelen, sammen med en hydrodynamisk motstandssttuktur hviUcet resulterer i den fiie bevegelsen av rengjøringsanordningen langs lengden av den seismiske hydrofonkabelen (1).
