Abstract
Luftkniv hvor det injiseres en gass-sfrøm langs den innvendige veggen av denne. Luftkniven kan fordelaktig anbringes ved eller nær innløpet til et suspensjonskar for å redusere oppbygging av faste materialer som ttansporteres til suspensjonskaret. Gass-strømmen injiseres med tilsfrekkelig hastighet til å redusere oppbyggingen av faste materialer på veggen i luftkniven (og derved innløpet til suspensjonskaret). Den perifere luftkniven er særhg anvendehg i en TieU -produksjonsprosess for å redusere oppbygging av hygroskopisk syklonstøv ved innløpet til et suspensjonskar.
