Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for å bleke og lyshetsstabilisere lignocellulosematerialer er beskrevet. Fremgangsmåten involverer behandling av lignocellulosematerialer, særlig, (a) tremasser slik som termomekaniske masser (TMP) og kjemitermomekaniske masser (CTMP), og (b) papir fremstilt fra tremasse, med vannløselig fosfin eller fosfoniumforbindelse som foretrukket inneholder minst en fosforhydroksyalkylbinding, for eksempel fosforhydroksymetylbinding (P-CH20H). Et eksempel på slikt vannløselig fosfin er kommersielt tilgjengelig tris(hydroksymetyl)fosfin (THP), P(CH2OH)3.
