Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en fremgangsmåte for indeksering og gjenfinning av multimediadata. Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer spesielt en fremgangsmåte for å sammenligne minst to sett med multimediadata under anvendelse av forminformasjonen for å tilveiebringe et ulikhetsmål mellom settene. Oppfinnelsen finner sin anvendelse ved gjenfinning av bilder eller deler av sekvenser basert på deres innhold i bilde- og videosekvens-databaser.
