Abstract
Det er beskrevet en limingsformulering og en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en limingsformulering for fiberglassarmerte bunter anvendt i fenolisk pultmsjon. Limingsformuleringen omfatter 1 % - 7 % av en filmdannende polymer, 0,3 % - 3,5 % av et silankoblingsmiddel, 0,5 % - 3,0 % av et ikke-ionisk smøremiddel og 0,2 % - 3,5 % av et kationisk smøremiddel. Eventuelt inneholder limingssammensetningen opp til 3 % av en vannbåret uretanoppløsning. Limingssammensetningen er meget kompatibel med fenoliske harpikser anvendt i pultmsjonsprosesser og fremmer en forbedret grenseflate og forøket kompatibilitet mellom de individuelle fibeme og matriksharpiksen. Denne forøkede overflaten resulterer i bedre mekaniske egenskaper slik at en fiberarmert fenolisk harpikskomposittdel som har overlegne egenskaper kan dannes.
