Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører et høyfast, ekstrudert aluminiumslegeringsprodukt som oppviser utmerket korrosjonsmotstand og sekundær bearbeidbarhet og som er egnet for bruk som et konstruksjonsmateriale for transportutstyr slik som biler, skinnegående kjøretøyer og luftfartøy, samt en fremgangsmåte for tilvirkning av samme. Det ekstruderte aluminiumslegeringsproduktet har en sammensetning som inneholder 0,6 til 1,2% Si, 0,8 til 0,3% Mg, og 1,3 til 2,1% Cu, mens de følgende betingelser (1), (2), (3) og (4) tilfredsstilles 3%(Si%+Mg%+Cu% (4% (1) Mg%(1,7(Si% (2) Mg%+Si%(2,7% (3) Cu%/2(Mg%((Cu%/2)+0,6% (4) og som videre inneholder 0,04 til 0,35% Cr, og 0,05% eller mindre av Mn som en urenhet, hvor balansen er aluminium og uunngåelige urenheter. Tverrsnittet til det ekstruderte produktet har en rekrystalliseringstekstur med en gjennomsnittlig kornstørrelse lik 500 µm eller mindre. Tilvirkningsfremgangsmåten inkluderer, ved ekstrudering av aluminiumslegeringen til et massivt produkt ved bruk av en massiv dyse, å ekstrudere aluminiumslegeringen ved bruk av en massiv dyse i hvilken en bæringslengde (L) er 0,5 mm eller mer og bæringslengden (L) og tykkelsen (T) av det massive produktet har et forhold uttrykt som "L(5T", og, ved ekstrudering av aluminiumslegeringen til et hult produkt ved bruk av en "porthole"-dyse eller en brodyse, å ekstrudere aluminiumslegeringen ved innstilling av forholdet mellom strømningshastigheten til aluminiumslegeringen i en ikke-sammenføyende seksjon og strømningshastigheten til aluminiumslegeringen i en sammenføyende seksjon i et kammer, hvor barren gjenforenes etter endring av en kortseksjon av dysen i oppdelte strømmer og etterfølgende omkranser en stamme, ved 1,5 eller mindre.
