Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av 1-okten ved å starte fra butadien, hvori i et første trinn (a) bis-hydrodimerisering av butadien til 1,7-oktadien utføres i nærvær av en katalysator basert på palladium inneholdende ett eller flere trisubstituerte monodentate fosfiner, i et aprotisk polart løsningsmiddel, i et andre trinn (b) utføres den delvis katalytiske hydrogenering av 1,7-oktadien til 1-okten i nærvær av en titanforbindelse aktivert med ett eller flere metallalkyler fra gruppe 13 (valgt fra bor, aluminium, gallium, indium).
