Abstract

Fremgangsmåte i to trinn for fremstilling av 1-okten ved å starte fra butadien som omfatter: et første trinn (a) hvori bis-hydrodimerisering av butadien til 1,7-oktadien utføres i nærvær av en katalysator basert på et palladiumkompleks inneholdende ett eller flere tri-substituerte monodentate fosfiner, i et aprotisk polart løsningsmiddel eventuelt inneholdende en organisk base; et andre trinn (b) hvori den delvis katalytiske hydrogenering av 1,7-oktadien til 1-okten utføres, idet den ovennevnte fremgangsmåte er kjennetegnet ved at: (i) i det første trinnet velges det aprotiske polare løsningsmiddel fra disubstituerte cykliske ureaforbindelser; (ii) i det andre trinnet velges katalysatoren fra ikke-bårede 15 rutheniumkomplekser som har generell formel (II) : RuXmLn (II).
