Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse integrerer ressursstyring mellom tidsdelt dupleks (TDD) og frekvensdel dupleks (FDD) i trådløse kommunikasjonssystemer. En radionettverk kontroller (RNC) mottar en radioaksessbærer (RAB) forespørsel fra et kjernenettverk eller en trådløs sender/mottakerenhet. RNC utnytter en TDD-FDD velger for å tildele radioressurser som svar på forespørsel. TDD-FDD velgeren evaluerer forskjellige parametere med hensyn til den mottatte RAB forespørselen og bestemmer om det er foretrukket å tildele TDD ressurser eller FDD ressurser og om slike ressurser er for nåværende tilgjengelige. Med en gang ressurser er tildelt vil systembetingelsen bli evaluert for å bestemme om optimalisering kan bli gjort på en nåværende ressursallakolering.
