Abstract

Ved en fremgangsmåte og en anordning for komprimering av cellulosepartikler til en fortrinnsvis prismatisk balle blir cellulosen tilført en presse (8, 9, 34) ved hjelp av en tilførselsinnretning (1). I området ved tilførselsinnretningen (1) er det anordnet en forkomprimeringsinnretning (2). Da pressen (8, 9, 34), som foretar en ferdigpressing av ballen, tilføres forkomprimert cellulose i form av en cellulosebane, kan det under pressingen i pressen (8, 9, 34) presses en vesentlig større mengde cellulose under hver pressing. Derved kan antall pressinger reduseres, og det kan tilveiebringes en balle med en på forhånd gitt totalvekt.
