Abstract
Det beskrives en bølgeenergiomformer som omfatter to bøyer, en først som er generelt flat og stiger opp og ned i fase med passerende bølger på et vannlegeme, og den andre er langstrakt og stiger opp og ned ute av fase med de passerende bølgene. Fortrinnsvis er den første bøyen ringformet med en sentral vertikal åpning derigjennom, og den langstrakte bøyen, med en vektet bunnende, strekker seg vertikalt gjennom den sentrale åpningen på den første bøyen. De to bøyene beveger seg derfor ute av fase med hverandre, og følgelig tilveiebringer en relativt stor relativ bevegelse mellom de to bøyene som gir økning av høy effektiv energiomforming. Hver bøye fungerer som en "jord` for den andre, og derfor unngås behovet for å ankre bøyene til bunnen på vannlegemet.
