Abstract
Det beskrives en fremgangsmåte og et system for telemetri i et kompressibelt borefluid under underbalansert boring. Det tilveiebringes en reflektor (110) nedstrøms gassinnløpet (104) som skaper reflekterte trykkbølger (122) med samme trykkpolaritet som de innkommende trykkbølgene (120). Det tilveiebringes en trykkføler (92) nedenfor reflektoren (110) for å måle trykket i det kompressible borefluidet. Reflektoren (110) kan være en plate med en åpning med fast størrelse eller en justerbar åpning. Det beskrives også et borehulls-kommunikasjonssystem der det tilveiebringes et par av trykkfølere (92) på hver sin side av en strømningsbegrensning (118) tilveiebragt i gasskanalen (104) som leder til gassinjektoren (84). Strømningsbegrensningen kan være en ventil (118) som anvendes for å styre strømningsmengden av gass som tilføres i borefluidet, eller den kan være en separat venturidyse eller en plate med én eller flere åpninger.
