Abstract

Det er tilveiebrakt en anordning og et program for evaluering av foretak som er i stand til å innehente en fortjeneste for et spesielt foretak og antall patenter som eies av det spesielle foretaket, og beregne å mate ut en indeks som indikerer fortjeneste per patent (eller bruksmønster) for det totale antall patenter. En fremstillings/salgs-fortjeneste og patentroyaltyinntekter i et spesielt foretak innenfor en første forutbestemt periode, blir innhentet fra en finansdatabase som inneholder finansinformasjon om foretak. De offisielle kunngjøringsbladene for patentsøknader for det spesielle foretaket i løpet av en annen forutbestemt periode blir innhentet fra databasen. Antallet patenter eller antallet patentkrav som er meddelt i løpet av en forutbestemt periode, blir innhentet som antall oppfinnelser fra de offisielle bladene. Antallet oppfinnelser som har forsvunnet før et forutbestemt tidspunkt blir innhentet. Antallet oppfinnelser som er innsamlet, blir subtrahert fra antallet oppfinnelser som har forsvunnet, for å beregne det totale antall gyldige patenter. Summen av fremstillings/salgs-fortjenesten og patentroyaltyinntektene blir dividert med det totale antall gyldige patenter for å fremskaffe en patentlønnsomhet, som blir matet ut til en fremvisningsanordning eller lignende, for A varsle en bruker. Det blir dermed mulig å beregne og fremvise den indeksen som indikerer hvor meget et patent bidrar til et foretak.
