Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører et fleksibelt rør for ttansport av et fluid i et marint miljø, hvilket rør irmbefatter: a) en foring (1) for å avgrense fluidet som skal tiansporteres av røret, b) et armeringslag (3) som omgir foringen, c) en ytte beskyttende hylse som omgir armeringslaget. Oppflrmelsen vedrører videre en fremgangsmåte for fremstilhng av et fleksibelt rør. Hensikten med foreliggende oppflrmelse er å til veiebringe et fleksibelt rør med en ytie beskyttende hylse som tillater radiell ekspansjon og kontiaksjon av armeringslagene i røret. Problemet blir løst ved at den ytie beskyttende hylsen irmbefatter minst to beskyttende lag (51, 52) med spiralviklede kompositttåder (53), hvor de minst to lagene er viklet med i det vesentligste motsatte viklingsvinkler og blir lokalt holdt sammen (55). Dette har den fordelen at det tilveiebringes en relativt fleksibel men allikevel flksert struktur til den ytie hylsen.
