Abstract

Et system for applikasjonstjenerautonomaksess (ASAA) for å skaffe autonom tilgang til en trådløs infrastruktur fra innretningen som benytter forskjellige typer aksessteknologi. Systemet inkluderer en tjener (server) med en assosiert datalagringsinnretning for lagring av i det minste en politikk, og flere delnett, koblet til tjeneren, tilveiebringer aksess til tjeneren. De flere delnettene benytter i det minste to forskjellige typer aksessteknologi. Flere trådløse sender/mottakerenheter (WTRU) er koblet på trådløst vis til minst ett av delnettet. Tjeneren overvåker den trådløse koblingen og, avhengig av den minst ene politikken, veksler WTRU mellom forskjellige av delnettene.
