Abstract

Effektive pilotsignaltransmisjonsskjemaer for multiantennekommunikasjonssystemer er beskrevet. Generelt vil MISO mottakere foretrekke at et pilotsignal sendes i en romlig retning, og MIMO mottakere vil typisk kreve at et pilotsignal sendes i forskjellige romlige retninger. I et pilotsignaltransmisjonsskjema, genereres en første mengde av T skalerte pilotsignalsymboler ved bruk av en første treningsvektor og sendes (f.eks. kontinuerlig) fra T senderantenner, der T større > 1. Dersom MIMO mottaker(e) skal støttes av systemet, vil minst T-1 ytterligere mengder av T skalerte pilotsignalsymboler bli generert ved bruk av minst T-1 ytterligere treningsvektorer og sendt fra de T senderantenner. Treningsvektorene benyttes for forskjellige (f. eks. ortogonale) romlige retninger. Hver MISO mottaker kan estimere sin MISO kanal basert på den første mengde av skalerte pilotsignalsymboler.
