Abstract
Det er tilveiebragt en elektrolyseanordning for behandling av ballastvann ved anvendelse av NaOCl og en fremgangsmåte for dette. Anordningen innbefatter: en ballasttank, en elektrolysator, en første sirkulasjonspumpe, en andre sirkulasjonspumpe og en styreenhet. Ballasttanken er installert i et skip for lagring av sjøvann. Elektrolysatoren er koplet til ballasttanken og elektrolyserer sjøvannet. Sirkulasjonspumpen er installert for å tillate ballastvannet å strømme inn i elektrolysatoren og for uttømming av det elektrolyserte vannet inneholdende NaOCl til ballasttanken. Styreenheten leverer strøm til elektrolysatoren for å styre en NaOCl-tetthet og styre sirkulasjonspumpene. Anordningen og fremgangsmåten behandler sjøvannet trygt og sikkert. Således kan miljøforurensning og økosystemødeleggelse minimaliseres.
