Abstract
Et finkalibret prosjektil (100) omfatter en yttermantel (5) laget av kambak, en hard kjerne (4) laget av herdet stål, og en hul mantelkjerne (8) som også er laget av tambak. Den kinetiske energi blir hovedsakelig overført til den harde kjerne (4) når et mål Z treffes, slik at den harde kjerne (4) trenger gjennom målet (Z). Den duktile mantel (5) støttes av mantelkjernen (8) som befinner seg på innsiden og danner en soppformet deformert mantel (T) uten fragmentering. Prosjektilet 100 ifølge oppfinnelsen oppviser en god fluktadferd og stor sluttballistisk ytelse og kan fremstilles på en fullstendig blyfri måte.
