Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for å estimere permeabiliteten i en formasjon rundt et borehull omfatter det å påføre transiente brønntestforhold i borehullet. En del av formasjonen eksiteres med et akustisk signal. Den akustiske responsen svarende til det akustiske signalet måles med en akustisk mottaker som befinner seg inne i borehullet. Permeabiliteten i formasjonen estimeres ved hjelp av den akustiske responsen.
