Abstract

En superledende kabellinje innbefatter et varmeisolasjonsrør for et fluid (2) for transport av flytende hydrogen (1), en superledende kabel (10) som er anordnet i isolasjonsrøret for fluidet, og varmevekslermidler (30) for å sørge for varmeveksling mellom det flytende hydrogen og et kjølemiddel for kabelen (10). Kabelen (10) omfatter en kabelkjerne inne i det varmeisolerende rør for kabelen og ligger i dette varmeisolasjonsrør og danner der en lavtemperaturomgivelse rundt kabelen (10) og en dobbel varmeisolasjonsstruktur som omfatter varmeisolasjonsrøret (2). Av denne grunn og siden varmetilførselen inn i den superledende kabel (10) på denne måte reduseres og kjølemiddelet blir kjølt ned ved hjelp av det flytende hydrogen (1), kan kabellinjen redusere nødvendig energitilførsel for nedkjøling av kjølemiddelet.
