Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for behandling av undergrunnsformasjoner hvori avlekking gjennom naturlige frakturer kontrolleres ved hjelp av fibere. Metoden involverer pumping av en blanding av et formasjonsbehandlingsfluid og en fiber inn i formasjonen for matriksstimulasjon, frakturstimulasjon, avledning, og/eller vannkontroll. I karbonatformasjoner er formasjonsbehandlingsfluidet foretrukket en in situ geldannet syre. Metoden innebærer eventuelt også at det samme eller et forskjellig formasjonsbehandlingsfluid uten fiber pumpes.
