Abstract
Lette polyamidpartikler kan brukes ved behandling av undergrunnsformasjoner, innbefattende hydraulisk frakturering og sandkontrollmetoder, slik som gruspakking. Polyamidpartiklene har typisk en tilsynelatende spesifikk vekt (ASG) mellom fra omkring 1,05 til omkring 2,0 og er stabile ved temperaturer opp til 500oC. Polyamidpartiklene kan brukes i kombinasjon med et fyllstoff som videre tjener til å øke styrken og temperaturstabiliteten til den resulterende sammensetningen. Sprekkonduktivitet kan økes ved plasseringen av de lette polyamidpartiklene som et delvis monolag.
