Abstract

Oppfinnelsen er rettet på en fremgangsmåte fior oppgradering av tungoljer ved anvendelse av et oppslemningsmateriale. Oppslemningsmaterialet firemstilles i flere trinn, innbefattende blanding av et gruppe-VI B-metalloksid med vandig ammoniakk fior å danne en vandig blanding og sulfidering av blandingen fior å danne en oppslemning. Oppslemningen aktiveres så med en gruppe-VIII B-metallfiorbindelse. Påfølgende trinn innebærer blanding av oppslemningen med en hydrokarbonolje og sammenføring av den resulterende blanding med hydrogengass (under betingelser hvorunder vannet opprettholdes i en væskefase) for dannelse av den aktive oppslemningskatalysator.
