Det er beskrevet en anordning for materialprøving av et prøveobjekt som har minst elektrisk ledende og ferromagnetiske materialdeler, hvor prøveobjektet er forsynt med minst en teknisk overflate, med minst en elektromagnetisk ultralydtransdusergruppe (EMUS) som er forsynt med en permanentmagnetgruppe eller en elektromagnetgruppe og minst et virvelstrømspolearrangement. Oppfinnelsen er kjennetegnet ved minst en virvelstrømspole som har minst et elektrisk strimmellederarrangement som er anordnet ved eller parallelt med et overflateområde av et rulleorgan som kan rulles på den tekniske overflaten til .prøveobjektet, med overflateområdet rullende sammen med rullorganet under rulling.
