Abstract

Formålet med oppfinnelsen er å forbedre virkningen av isolasjonslaget og derved enten redusere varmetapet til et minimum for å samsvare med nye standarder for bygninger med lavt energiforbruk eller for å forbedre brannegenskapene til et brannbeskyttende isolasjonslag på f.eks. stålkonstruksjoner. Oppfinnelsen angår også en fremgangsmåte for tilvirkning av mineralfiberplaten ved mekanisk sammentrekking med ruller.A mineral fiber board has at least two resilient edges to prevent any small gaps in the joints between two adjacent boards when installed. The object of the invention is to improve the effect of the insulation layer and thereby either reduce the heat loss to a minimum to comply with new standards for low energy buildings or to improve the fire properties of a fire protective insulation layer on e.g. steel structures. The invention also relates to a method for making the mineral fiber plate by mechanical contraction with rollers.
