Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører et girsystem for en tråsykkel, der giret omfatter et planetgir med ett eller flere planethjul (15), et sentralt solhjul (5) og et ringhjul (14) som er montert til en roterende holder (20). Planetgiret er videre, ulikt tradisjonelle nav-integrerte planetgir for tråsykler, innkapslet i et hus (19), på et slikt vis at planetgiret komplett i likhet med tannkransen på derailleur-girsystemer kan festes til og tas av tråsykkelens bakhjul, uten at planetgirets hus (19) må brytes og de indre mekanismer eksponeres. Ved innkapsling i huset (19) vil girsystemet kunne monteres på derailleur-hjulsett og girsystemet vil i langt mindre grad enn derailleurgirsystem være utsatt for slag og/eller støt ved bruk samt kreve vedlikehold.
