Abstract

En paravane for et marint, seismisk undersøkelsessystem innbefatter en flottør og minst en avleder (foil) operativt koblet til flottøren. Avlederen er innrettet for å omdirigere strømning av vann forbi paravanen i forhold til en bevegelsesretning av paravanen gjennom vannet. Paravanen innbefatter også en styrings-anordning. Styringsanordningen er utformet for på regulerbare måte å omdirigere strømningen av vann for å styre en størrelse av en lateral kraft generert av paravanen.
