Abstract
Det er tilveiebrakt en redundanskopler (10) som er konfigurert til å kople flere redundante masterstyreenheter (MC) (12, 14) til en feltbuss (16) som også har minst én slaveinnretning (18, 20) kommuniserbart koplet til seg. Redundanskopleren er videre konfigurert til å avgjøre hvilken av de flere redundante MC som er aktiv, å motta overføringer fra den aktive MC og videresende overføringene fra den aktive MC til den minst ene slaveinnretning via feltbussen, og å motta overføringer fra de andre redundante MC og forhindre at overføringene fra de andre redundante MC blir videresendt til den minst ene slaveinnretning.
