Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en nafta-reformingskatalysator er blitt utviklet. Fremgangsmåten innebærer anvendelse av en chelateringsligand som for eksempel etylendiamintetraeddiksyre (EDTA). En vandig oppløsning av chelateringsliganden og en tinnforbindelse benyttes for å impregnere en bærer, for eksempel aluminiumoksidekstnidater. Også et platinagruppemetall utgjør en vesentlig bestanddel av katalysatoren. Rhenium kan også være en bestanddel. En reformingsprosess hvor katalysatoren benyttes, oppviser forbedret utbytte, aktivitet og stabilitet for omdannelse av nafta til verdifulle bensinprodukter og aromatiske produkter.
