Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer en katalysator for fremstilling av nitrogenoksid fra ammoniakk og oksygen. Katalysatoren har sammensetningen A3-x,BxO9-y, der A og B uavhengig av hverandre er valgt fra gruppen Mn, Co, Cr, Fe og Al, x er mellom 0 og 3 og y er mellom 0 og 5. Katalysatoren har en høy selektivitet mot nitrogenoksid og en lav antennelsestemperatur i reaktoren. Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører ytterligere en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av gass som omfatter nitrogenoksid ved katalysatoren ifølge foreliggende oppfinnelse. Den produserte gassen har et lavt innhold av dinitrogenoksid.
