Abstract

Signaler detektert av partikkelbevegelsessensorer i en slept, marin seismisk dobbelt-sensorstreamer blir skalert for å passe til signaler detektert av trykksensorer i streameren. Trykksensorsignalene og de skalerte partikkelbevegelsessensorsignalene blir kombinert for å generere oppadgående og nedadgående trykkbølgefeltkomponenter. De oppadgående og nedadgående trykkbølgefeltkomponentene blir ekstrapolert til en posisjon like under en vannoverflate. Et første tilpasningsfilter blir anvendt på den ekstrapolerte, nedadgående trykkbølgefeltkomponenten. Den filtrerte, nedadgående trykkbølgefeltkomponenten blir subtrahert fra den ekstrapolerte, oppadgående trykkbølgefeltkomponenten for å generere en oppadgående trykkbølgefeltkomponent med dempet partikkelbevegelsessensor-støy. Et annet tilpasningsfilter blir anvendt på den ekstrapolerte, oppadgående trykkbølgefeltkomponenten.
