Abstract

Fremgangsmåte og anordning for å kompensere for fasestøy av symboler spredt med en lang spredningskode er beskrevet. For å kompensere for fasestøyen, dannes et fasefeilestimat fra despredte symboler med en kort spredningskode. En fasekorrigeringsfasor pålegges chipfrekvensdata før despredning av dataen med en lang spredningskode. Et signal/interferensforhold (SIR) på en felles pilotkanal (CPICH) kan beregnes ved å spre dataen med en stamspredningskode i et ortogonalt variabelt spredningsfaktor (OVSF) kode tre og ved å kombinere symboler. Alternativt kan en størrelse av symbolene brukes i å estimere SIR. SIR på en kanal som bruker en kort spredningskode og en SIR på en kanal som bruker en lang spredningskode måles. SIR på kanalen med den lange spredningskoden kan kompenseres i overensstemmelse med en forskjell mellom forringelsen av SIR.
