Abstract

Anordning ved utstyr for kontinuerlig eller semikontinuerlig støping av metall, spesielt direkte kjølt (DC) støping av aluminium i form av en langstrakt streng, pressbolt eller valseblokk, innbefattende en støpeform med et formrom eller kokille (3) som er forsynt med et innløp som via tilførselsrenner (6, 18) og fordelingskammer (5) står i forbindeise et metallforråd (13), samt et i kokillen anordnet utløp med en understøttelse og innretninger for kjøling av metallet tilknytning til tilførselsrennene (6, 18) mellom metallforrådet (13) og kokillene (3), er det anordnet en metalløftekasse (15) som er forbundet ved et innløp (16) med metallforrådet (13) via en renne (18) og med fordelingskammeret (5) og kokillene (3) gjennom et utløp (17) via en annen renne (6). Metalløftekassen er lukket mot omgivelsene og forsynt med en koblingsstuss (19) for tilkobling til en vacuum-kilde slik at metall ved oppstarting av en støpeoperasjon er innrettet til å suges inn i metalløftekassen og løftes til et nivå som er høyere enn nivået for fordelingskammeret (5) over kokillene (3).
