Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en langstrakt matebjelke (4) for bruk på en borerigg (1), idet matebjelken omfatter en profilbjelke av lettmetall eller en lettmetallegering fremstilt av en hul, ekstrudert profil med et i det vesentlige rektangulært tverrsnitt. Profilbjelken omfatter en øvre vegg (11), en nedre vegg (12) og to sidevegger (13, 14) og minst ett par ytre føringsvulster (8, 9). De enkelte føringsvulster (8, 9) av det minst ene par av føringsvulster er plassert på hver side av enten den øvre vegg (11) eller den nedre vegg (12) på steder hvor de øvre eller nedre vegg (11, 12) møter de motstående sidevegger (13, 14). Føringsvulstene (8, 9) har et i det vesentlige prismeformet tverrsnitt.
