Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer et allsidig additiv for å forbedre egenskapene av en sementslurry fremstilt med portlandsement og som skal anvendes i brønnsementering, idet det nevnte allsidige additiv omfatter en type av silikater og/eller borater som inhiberer geldannelse som foregår med den interstitiale fase. Additivet ifølge den foreliggende oppfinnelse forbedrer signifikant reologien (dvs. har sterk dispergerende effekt) og kan endog overvinne alvorlige geldannelsesproblemer. Ved temperaturer over omtrent 88 ?C virker additivet som retarderingsmiddelhjelpestoff og muliggjør i betraktelig grad å redusere konsentrasjonen av retarderingsmiddel som kreves for å oppnå en gitt fortykningstid.
