Abstract
En anordning for karakterisering av et subjekts visuelle respons, innbefatter en dataprosessor, en fremvisningsinnretning og en inngangsinnretning. Dataprosessoren er anordnet for å presentere evalueringsbilder i ulike posisjoner i fremvisningsinnretningen, slik at de kan ligge i ulike posisjoner i subjektets synsfelt, idet hvert evalueringsbilde innbefatter et bidrag fra minst to objekter valgt fra en liste som innbefatter: et basisbilde, et testbilde og et støybilde, og hvor dataprosessoren kan reagere slik på inngangsinnretningen at subjektet kan indikere hvorvidt de kan se testbildet i evalueringsbildet. Dataprosessoren er videre anordnet for evaluering av subjektets responser for derved å kunne gi en indikasjon på visuell effektivitet, intern støy og/eller visuell sensitivitet som en funksjon av posisjonen i subjektets synsfelt.
