Abstract
Teknikker for anrop av brukerutstyr UE i et trådløst kommunikasjonssystem, hvor en celle i et bestemt aspekt i systemet sender en anropsindikator til et slikt brukerutstyr UE, overvåker med hensyn til eventuelle bekreftelser fra brukerutstyret, og sender en anropsmelding til dette utstyr dersom en bekreftelse er mottatt fra utstyret. Cellen kan motta kanalkvalitetsinformasjon fra brukerutstyret og sende anropsmeldingen med linktilpasning og/eller såkalt HARQ for å bedre ytelsen. I et annet aspekt sender en celle en anropsindikator via en delt kontrollkanal til et brukerutstyr UE og sender dessuten en anropsmelding via en delt datakanal til utstyret. Anropsindikatoren og -meldingen kan sendes fra flere celler til brukerutstyret, eller indikatoren kan sendes fra flere celler til dette utstyret, mens anropsmeldingen kan sendes fra en enkelt celle til utstyret.
