Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår en anordning for flytende produksjon av LNG. Anordningen omfatter et LNG-skip omfattende et skipsskrog (12) og minst en sfærisk LNG-lagringstank (13) for lagring av LNG, en fremskytende skrogstruktur (16) festet til skipsskroget (12), et LNG- produksjonssystem (16) for konvertering av naturgass til LNG, hvor LNG- produksjonssystemet er arrangert i den fremskytende skrogstrukturen (16) og midler for overføring av LNG fra LNG- produksjonssystemet til den minst ene sfæriske LNG-lagringstanken (13). Oppfinnelsen angår også en fremgangsmåte for konvertering av et LNG-skip til en anordning for flytende produksjon av LNG.
