Abstract
Fremgangsmåter og apparat for på stedet, kontinuerlig, automatisk og i sanntid å måle akustisk impedanskalibrering av en transduser i et akustisk loggesystem er beskrevet. Ved å ta frekvenskarakteristikkene til ultralyd transduseren som er tilstede i den interne fôringsrefleksionen og konvolvere dem med frekvenskarakteristikkene til fôringen som blir logget, vil en teoretisk modell bli opprettet med en teoretisk akustisk impedans for fluid som fremstiller et teoretisk fritt rør signal i hvert målepunkt. Det målte signalet blir så sammenlignet med det teoretiske fritt rør signalet, for derved å gi en kalibrert akustisk impedansverdi for hvert målepunkt. Den eneste modellen som er anvendt er i den teoretiske beregningen av spekterkarakteristikken til fritt rør.
