Abstract

Kompakt anordning for fraseparering av vann for bruk i undersjøiske brønnoperasjoner. Et undersjøisk produksjonstre har en vertikal passasje og en eller flere siderettede forgreininger. En undersjøisk gravitasjonsseparator oppviser et hult toroideformet hus som er festet frigjørbart rundt og forbundet med produksjonstreet. Et innløp på en første sidedel av separatoren er forbundet med den siderettede forgreiningen av produksjonstreet og gir adgang for produksjonsfluid. Produksjonsfluidet strømmer gjennom separatoren der det passerer gjennom en separator. Etter å ha passert gjennom separatoren, blir fluid med lavere densitet fjernet gjennom et øvre utløp og fluid med høyere densitet fjernet gjennom et nedre utløp. Det øvre og nedre utløpet er posisjonert på motsatt side av den første sidedelen av separatoren.
