Abstract
En fotokatalytisk reaktor (1) for utførelse av en fotokatalytisk reaksjon på en væske som skal behandles, idet reaktoren omfatter et reaksjonskammer (2) som omfatter: (i) et perforert organ (10) som bærer en flerhet av mobile fotokatalysatorpartikler, idet størrelsen og tettheten av disse er slik at de er tilbøyelige til i bruk å hvile på det perforerte organ (10); og (ii) en gasstilsettingsinnretning (11, 16, 18) som forårsaker at gassbobler stiger fra det perforerte organ og agiterer de mobile fotokatalysatorpartikler. Reaktoren kan være en gjennomstrømningsreaktor. Den fotokatalytiske reaktor kan anvendes til forbedring av avløpsvann ved bruk av titanoksid.
