Abstract
En emulsjonsbehandlingsanordningfor separering av en emulsjon av emulsifiserte produserte vanndråper og olje innbefatter en i hovedsaken horisontal og avlang beholder (10) utformet og anordnet for langsgående strømning av emulsjon gjennom den, og innbefattende et emulsjonsinnløp (12), et oljeutløp (22), et vannutløp (24) og minst ett koaliseringselement (18) anordnet i beholderen (10), og et utløp for en stabil emulsjon (R) som danner seg i området ved en grenseflate (I) mellom emulsjon (E) og vann (W) når anordningen er i bruk. Utløpet for den stabile emulsjonen er gjennom en fluidledning (30) forbundet med en separatorbeholder (34; 32) som har et innløp og videre innbefatter et oljeutløp (36), et vannutløp (38) og midler (26; 28; 32) for bryting av den stabile emulsjonen (R). Midlene for bryting av den stabile emulsjonen kan innbefatte et elektrostatisk element (26), et oppvarmingselement (28) eller en elektrostatisk koaliseringsinnretning (32).
