Abstract
Systemer og metodikker for å frembringe teknikker for effektivt cellesøk i et system for trådløs kommunikasjon. Et frekvensgjenbruksmønster kan genereres ved å legge frekvensforskyvninger til referansesignaler som sendes fra celler som sørger for dekning for et knutepunkt Node B, basert på celle eller cellegruppeidentifikasjoner (ID) for cellene. Frekvensforskyvningene som gjøres gjeldende for referansesignaler kan deretter utnyttes som en basis for multipleksordning av disse referansesignaler fra forskjellige celler, ved bruk av frekvensdelt multipleksing (FDM) eller en kombinasjon av FDM og annen multipleksteknikk. Andre reguleringer av referansesignalene som sendes fra de enkelte celler, så som regulering av sendereffekten, kan videre utføres for å bedre deteksjonsytelsen.
