Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av karbondioksyd i konsentrert form og elektrisitet fra et hydrokarbonråstoff, der prosessen omfatter trinnene: a) innføring av en luftfødestrøm omfattende luft og eventuelt damp og en brennstoffødestrøm omfattende metan og eventuelt hydrogen og/eller damp til en autotermal reaktorenhet (ATR) for produksjon av syntesegass der (i) temperaturen i brennstoffødestrømmen ligger i området 350 til 700°C, og (ii) det molare forholdet mellom oksygen inneholdt i luftfødestrømmen og karbon (i hydrokarboner) i brennstoffødestrømmen er fra 0,45:1 til 0,85:1, og fortrinnsvis 0,6:1 til 0,7:1; b) avtrekking av en syntesegasstrøm omfattende metan, hydrogen, karbonmonoksyd, karbondioksyd, nitrogen og eventuelt damp fra ATR og varmeveksling av syntesegasstrømmen med en vannstrøm for fremstilling av damp og etterfølgende varmeveksling av syntesegasstrømmen med minst én prosesstrøm valgt fra gruppen bestående av et hydrokarbonråstoff, en pre-reformerfødestrøm, brennstoffødestrømmen, en hydrogenstrøm, kokerfødevann, luftfødestrømmen og damp for produksjon av overhetet damp; c) hvis nødvendig, innføring av damp til syntesegasstrømmen før føring av minst en del av syntesegasstrømmen til en skiftkonverterenhet der syntesegassen reagerer med damp for å generere ytterligere karbondioksyd og hydrogen; d) avtrekking av en skiftkonvertert gasstrøm fra skiftkonverterenheten og varmeveksling av skiftkonvertert gasstrøm med minst én prosesstrøm valgt fra gruppen bestående av et hydrokarbonråstoff, en pre-reformerfødestrøm, brennstoffødestrømmen, en hydrogenstrøm, kokerfødevann, luftfødestrømmen, vann for fremstilling av damp og damp for produksjon av overhetet damp; e) føring av den skiftkonverterte gasstrømmen til en karbondioksyd separeringsenhet for separering av en konsentrert karbondioksydstrøm fra en hydrogenstrøm omfattende hydrogen og nitrogen; f) forbrenning av minst en del av hydrogenstrømmen i en gassturbin der gassturbinen driver en elektrisk generator, for derved å gi elektrisitet, og der forbrenning av hydrogenstrømmen genererer en avgass.
